Queen Camilla has visited an award-winning jeweller based in North Norfolk
The Queen was at Monica Vinader’s design studio on the Holkham Estate on Monday, where she was received by the Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, Lady Dannatt MBE.
Ms Vinader received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development in 2022, and since then she has partnered with the world’s first net zero jewellery manufacturer, Ennovie, to implement blockchain traceability.
This technology allows customers to trace selected styles from design to material sourcing to craftsmanship.
Ms Vinador also recently embarked on a five-year biodiversity project, preserving a nearby seven-hectare site to improve air, water and soil quality, as well as sequester carbon and improve the biodiversity of the land.
Ms Vinader greeted the Queen before a tour of the workshop. The Queen also observed a photoshoot with models sporting Ms Vinader’s designs, unveiled a plaque and presented the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
It followed the Queen’s visit to Anna Sewell House in Great Yarmouth, which is occupied by Redwings Horse Sanctuary.
