The Lord-Lieutenant enjoying a shot of rum after Sunday’s ceremony at the South African War Memorial near the Shirehall in Norwich. Lady Dannatt kindly supported the annual event to commemorate those men of the Norfolk Regiment who died in the Boer War. This year was the 120th anniversary of the unveiling of the memorial by General Wynne (himself a veteran of the campaign) and family of Gen Wynne and four of his direct descendants took part in the ceremony
