Recently a Deputy Lieutenant attended an event organised by Age UK Norwich to celebrate the King’s birthday.
The event brought together a number of local communities of older people within the city, from a mix of sheltered housing and residential care homes.
This celebration, funded by the Big Lottery Fund, is part of the charity’s ‘Age-Friendly Norwich’ initiative which brings together communities that due to their circumstances are otherwise unlikely to have the opportunity to meet.
